Port Angeles to Joyce

Fairly easy day so we spent a couple of hours looking round Port Angeles (excellent camping shop!) We reached the end of the lovely rail trail ('Olympic Discovery Trail') that we've been following and had to go back to riding on the road. The shoulder was sometimes a little narrow.

We had a free campsite at Lyre River (just past Joyce). The signs said we needed a 'Dicover Pass' to use it - which we didn't have but the camp host said we didn't need it because we were on bicycles - Excellent. There were long-drop toilets and no showers but there was water so it was OK for one night and you couldn't beat the price.
