West Yellowstone to Norris

Our first day in Yellowstone National Park (we will be here for 6 days). A nice easy ride so we stopped everywhere and looked at the wildlife and the geysurs.

We heard that bison kill more people than any other animal in Yellowstone (despite all my recent bear attack research) so we carefully took a shot of one we saw at the side of the road from behind so it didn't see us and then cycled off fast.

However, when we arrived at the campsite in Norris, we found 2 enormous bison grazing in the middle of the campground between the tents and people sitting at tables eating lunch. The ranger told us that it was all really dangerous and although they look calm they could charge you and kill you at any time - enough warning for me to keep my distance even if other people didn't!
