Kamiah to Wilderness Gateway Campground

92km. Very hot towards the end of the day - but cooled off in the freezing waters of the river.

Stan started the day by fixing a pucture and 6km down the road when we stopped at a petrol station for water, the same tyre needed to be fixed again. Stan was not a happy chappie.

The petrol station sold petrol ('gasoline') and all the usual soft drinks and chocolate and so on - but also had quite a choice in.... guns - including pink for the ladies. They let me take some pics.

There were houses along both sides of the road - but the ones on our right were on the other side of the river and only accessible by this type of crossing.

The little town of Lowell was the last shop and diner for many miles - we will be travelling through the mountains for the next few days.
