Kai Kung Leng (near Yuen Long) - Rooster Ridge

Start:  Catch bus 968 to Yuen Long from Admiralty at the west-bound bus stops in front of Pacific Place.

End: You can catch a mini-bus to Sheng Shui KCR

Description: Bus to Yuen Long, then taxi to the road to Fung Kat Heung). The trail doesn't start right at the 3 road intersection as appears on the map but the next path along towards Fung Kat Heung. The trail traverses the whole exposed ridge of Kai Kung Leng with interesting views over the North Western New Territories and Tai Po marshes. This is the fifteenth highest mountain in Hong Kong (585m).It is a little steep and brushy near the end. You will finish walking through farmland south of the Fanling Golf Course.
